Savvy Needle's mission is to expand the craft and traditions of sewing, knitting, and crochet into the modern person's life, and give them confidence to just try it!

Kelli's Bio

Born into a family of talented seamstresses, I have always been fascinated with clothing and handicrafts, starting with handmade dresses lovingly (if clumsily) sewn for my dolls. 

Ventures into fashion design and construction, costume design, crochet, knitting, lace making, painting, and beading only strengthened my resolve to do my part to bring these crafts into modern life.

Handicrafts, particularly sewing and knitting, have always made me feel connected to generations that have gone before, to those strong women who crafted, not only out of necessity, but for the love of creating beautiful things.  It is my dream to help others enjoy this same sense of connectedness.
